Colbar is Ireland’s longest-established metal casting house. Since 1996, we’ve helped hundreds of jewellers and designers bring their creative ideas to life with precision, care and craft.

Every piece we cast is made by hand in our Dublin workshop by a small, highly skilled team of six artisans. From one-off custom designs to full production runs, we work closely with each client to deliver pieces that match their exact vision.

Some History

Having worked in jewellery manufacturing in Ireland for many years, in 1996 Colm Gallagher and Barry Grogan set up Colbar in Colm’s shed. From there they moved to the Design Tower, on Pearse Street. After a couple of years the company had grown enough that they could take on their first additional employee and move to the companies current location in Dublin 24, at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains.
